hardware3 hardware4This site has mixed history in the wayback machine but initially it was created as a forum about computer innovations and technology specifically computer hardwares. The forum members would at times get opportunities to test some of the hard ware and computer soft-wares which are in the beta version.

Of course I existed before PC was a computer.

So you are both a nerd, a geek, a programmer and also a technologist?

hardwareThe site was also used as a platform to announce some of the computer technologies which are pending release as well as to criticize those that do not meet the expectations of the consumers.

There was also a section of product reviews on the site whereby those who have used the computer soft-wares or hard-wares would give out their experiences which would help future buyers make the best decision after reading the reviews.

I bet that this site is not bringing extinct components back to life.

In the beginning God created the Bit and the Byte. And from those he created the Word. And there were two Bytes in the Word; and nothing else existed. And God separated the One from the Zero; and he saw it was good.

Don’t bring your profanity here for heavens sake.

Below is some of their information that I grabbed form the wayback machine

TheCrucible.ca – Where Hardware gets put on trial.

Who are we, and why do you care? Well, first off let me say thank you for visiting us. Secondly, I Rob “DoGMaN” Parks started The Crucible to take an honest, balanced look at hardware and reviews. Over the past few years, it seems as though more and more reviews are becoming jaded by the fact that certain manufacturers seem to be sending out specially picked products. By this I mean that it seems that some reviewers are receiving hardware that has already been pre-tested by the manufacturer to excel beyond expectaions. Now you may say well, yes that is good marketing, but I say its not showing realistic results. At The Crucible we pride ourselves in telling the truth about hardware, we don’t pull any punches. As a hardware review site, our word is only as good as our last review. If you the reader feel that we are not being fair, honest, and completely truthful, then we have failed. What does this mean to you the reader? It means that the hardware we review, is handled with the upmost integrity. Our Job is to report our findings to you and allow you to pass judgement. Our opinion is our opinion, while this may not be the same as someone elses neither is wrong. As a reader you must take the time to read reviews from not just our site, but as many sites as possible. This is the only way to get all the facts. While we try and bring you all sides of every piece of hardware, there are some instances where it is just not possible. We are after all only human. We do promise to provide nothing but the truth in all reviews. Just the truth, nothing else. Now I’m sure we will catch a lot of heat from different people, but not everyone can agree with everyone elses views. I hope you will stay a while and read the many reviews we have prepared for you. If you have any questions or comments I am always just an email away.

hardware1 hardware2The domain was dropped back then and it was recently gifted to me. I’ve decided to create content about computers too but will be featuring computer hardware components majorly because I feel that this is one filed which has been greatly neglected by many computer enthusiasts. I’ve created some content and published it alerady and I’m sure that you will be thrilled by the posts.
